So cool

It is hard to believe how well it works. You blow air to the propeller -even with your mouth- and it stars going! Al friends who see at my house are amazed by it.

Works perfectly. The build quality was surprising and the instructions are very easy to follow. My only regret is that I didn't buy two!

I love this thing. You must follow the directions exactly, but once you do this thing will give a lot of enjoyment. It works like a charm, and if you set it on the sidewalk on a windy day it will walk on its own. I highly recommended it.

Just the right amount of complexity to build to stretch the mind but not break it. Sits on my desk and brings me pleasure whenever I blow on its blades and get it to crawl.

Purchased one for me to see if 8 year old would be able to build it. Great success!!! Be sure to buy a portable fan (battery driven) to go with this wind toy.

This thing is really nifty! The instructions could be more clearly written, but if you pay close attention, they're good enough. It gets easier as you go along, as the steps are repeated for each of the twelve legs. I'd think this would be too challenging for a large majority of 8-year-olds to assemble (8+ is printed on box), but it was an enjoyable way for this 60-year-old to spend a couple of hours. I set it to walking across the table with a hair dryer -- set on low heat and low flow -- and it worked great!

A fascinating demonstration of mechanical locomotion in an easy to build machine. Great for science or mechanics STEM classes. Fun to adapt to other mechanical devices. Price very reasonable. Great product!!

Needs careful assembly, but it works beautifully. A very small breeze sets it in insectlike motion with its twleve articulated legs. Very nice mechanism based on the work of Theo Jansen.

Very interesting engineering but not that easy to assemble due to the fairly cryptic instructions. Lots of very small pieces but well made. Once a few of the leg assemblies were complete, the rest are just repetitions.

Great toy

Fun little desk toy. Like others said, about 2.5 hours start to finish. Pretty simple build, time taken to trim mold flashing, and, eel, be a perfectionist. Worth it. Fun little tinker thingie

Instructions were accurate and clear. About 30-45 minute assembly. Works very well and you get to play with an interesting mechanism

Great project! takes a little doing to get it together but its not bad.

The kit was fun to build and even more fun to watch in action. A cheap pocket fan or gentle breeze is enough to bring these to life.

So fun! Gave it to my engineer brother in law and he immediately put it together. Unfortunately my daughter ran over it with her push toy, so keep it out of reach of children ;) its semi-delicate. Walked well before it was demoed ;)
