This didn't fit my larger pans but was fine on the smaller ones. It IS a good idea to use something (i used tongs) to lift it off when done to avoid burns from hot steam! I'm happy with the product.

I gave this as a silly gift to my Mother inlaw. This turned out to be her favorite gift.

Cute novelty, but I wish it was bigger. Most of the time it just lays on top of my food instead of on the pot.
