I love this little guy! He has become my favorite tea companion. This diffuser IS efficient for making hot tea. Maybe other buyers just didnt use high quality tea or use enough? Mine has been handy and my tea loving roommates like to steal him from me. Also, no rubber taste here... only pure happiness!

I'm a proud doxie mama, so when I needed a tea infuser, I looked for a doxie one! This is the greatest infuser I've ever had. Not only is it adorable, it's really easy to clean.

I kinda wish the sloth looked more cutesy than realistic, but the steeper is still an example of where design meets practicality.

Made of soft rubber. Looks so cute sitting in a cup. I don’t use it, but my Wife says she can taste a hint of rubber in the tea.

I love this little thing. It works great. I would suggest when you put him together with tea inside to turn his body 180 degrees. This keeps the tea inside, keeping him the unturned seemed to make me nervous of him loosing the tea.
