Vikings used necklaces with animals or beasts biting onto a ring where pendants were hung. This variant consists of a Byzantine Chain connecting with Bear Heads - Viking male names often included Bjǫrn (Björn) which is the Old Norse word for bear. The Heads bite onto a ring with a large Mjölnir pendant.
