This ring is stiff the first couple of days to spin, but then loosens up. This is a GREAT RING!!

Very sturdy and yet beautifully made ring. My teen daughter loves wearing it and leaving secret messages for us to decipher. It fits her well, and is easy to manipulate to solve the codes.

Our son got this from his Elf on the shelf who works as a SPY for Santa! They send secret messages to each other! It's a great ring, works great and he loves it. He's 9 and it fit his ring finger perfectly!

I bought this for my 4 year old niece after she learned about pigpen ciphers and became fascinated with secret messages. I got one for her (size 6 is extremely large but she'll grow into it) and one for myself. It was very well received I created some encoded messages for her to practice with before hand and she loved it. The substitution is not a simple ROT3 like some of the other reviews suggest. The numbers are in a random order which is of course fixed on the ring. Both rings have the same number order so one ring can decode a message created with another ring.
