It really works! It is awfully light, though.

This was a Christmas gift for my son and he loves it. He uses it all the time. I wish I knew how cool it was I would have bought more as gifts.

Subtle real lead (not graphite) pen -- grey similar to very hard graphite.
Not for everyone

Physical description was accurate. Should add that the mark the pen makes is not dark at all, it is similar to a light pencil mark.
